Committee of 100 for Tibet

David Kilgour, M.P.

"As difficult as the issue of human rights may appear to be, there is cause for optimism and hope for the Tibetan people on many fronts. Hope that one day we can clear away the ignorance and fear that breed oppression and abuse of human rights; hope that we can create an awareness of the significance of collectively working towards the goals of economic, social and political security, of people within societies. Freedom, democracy, and the respect for human rights are essential elements to the development of democratic societies and also are instruments that the international community can achieve the objectives of peace and security for the people of Tibet."

May the 100 Voices for a FREE TIBET be heard and help bring about peace, freedom and happiness for Tibet and Tibetans !
