Library in the Norbulingka temple

The Norbulingka Library is situated on the second floor of the temple, and serves the needs of the students, researchers and visitors. It presently has about one thousand volumes of books in Tibetan and is actively fund raising to increase the number of reference works, both in English and Tibetan. It also plans to house a multimedia reference library.

Publications

Tibetan:
Nor-de , a monthly eight page newspaper dealing with cultural and literary topics.
Nor-dzeu , an annual 125 page journal containing collected essays on research topics.

English:
Chö-Yang , an occasional high quality 125pp publication featuring original material on Tibetan Culture.
Me-Long , a biannual newspaper containing short articles on Tibetan cultural issues and news of Norbulingka Institute.
